The Highland Cow Experience Days
Our Highland Cow Experience Days are new for 2025 — your membership gives you 25% off one car per booking, so you can bring as many as your car can carry!
Each event is a relaxed afternoon at the farm — meet Iona, Skye, and Murren and take in the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate spring and the special connection you share with your Highland cow.
Our Highland Experience Days will run on Sunday 29th March and Saturday 25th April.

- Memberships are valid for 12 months from purchase.
- Your chosen cow’s profile and updates will be available via the QR code in your pack.
- Our Highland Cow Experience Days are the only times meet-and-greet access is available – there are no private sessions this year.
- If your chosen cow is unavailable on the day (for example, with a new calf or in a resting field), we’ll make sure you still meet her friends and enjoy the full experience.
- Please remember: membership is a symbolic adoption – it doesn’t imply ownership, but it does promise a year of Highland cow joy and a warm connection to our herd.

Date of Birth: 10/09/2020
About Iona: Step into the enchanting world of Iona, a stunning Highland Cow with the classic, gorgeous red colouring that makes her stand out in the herd. Born on the 10th of September in 2020, Iona joined our farm when she was just 6 months old, capturing our hearts instantly with her teddy bear-like appearance.
Iona quickly established herself as the herd’s sweetheart, exuding charm and endearing herself to all. Her distinct curved horns and long, tousled fringe add to her captivating Highland charm.
Personality: Iona is more than just a pretty face; she’s the herd’s social butterfly. With a big, attractive personality, she enjoys being the centre of attention and making her presence known within the herd. Her journey into motherhood began in April 2023 when she welcomed her first calf, a charming little bull, and in November 2024 anoher beautiful bull arrived.
Dietary Delights: When it comes to meals, Iona enjoys a wholesome diet of grass, hay, silage, and plenty of veggies. For a special treat, she adores hand-fed potatoes or carrots (safely, through the security of a gate), although those majestic horns remind us to handle with care.

Born on the 11th of March in 2021, Skye graced our farm when she was 9 months old, bringing with her an undeniable allure. Skye knows she’s got the looks, and she revels in being admired.
Distinctive Features: Skye’s presence makes her a dream subject for photographers. Her linear horns and impeccable fringe add to her regal charm, making her an iconic figure within the herd.
Personality: Skye’s allure lies in her enigmatic charm; she enjoys being admired. Her regal demeanor makes her a stunning subject for any photographer’s lens. In April 2023, Skye welcomed her first calf, a delightful bull, adding to the royal lineage, and more recently a gorgeous calf, Luna who was born in November 2024.
Dietary Delights: Skye indulges in a wholesome diet of grass, hay, silage, and forages. Born on the 14th of May in 2023, Murren graced our farm, adding a touch of sweetness with her unique hue. Being a bit younger, Murren possesses a shy demeanour, but once she feels at ease, her friendliness shines through, albeit with a hint of timidity compared to her more outgoing companions, Skye and Iona. This adorable calf loves to admire people from a distance before warming up to them.
Distinctive Features: Murren’s charm lies in her endearing shyness and absolute adorableness. Her blondie hair, envy-worthy even to hairdressers, sets her apart and adds a unique touch to the herd.
Personality: As the more reserved member of the herd, Murren prefers to take her time getting to know people. Despite her initial timidity, she is incredibly friendly and warms up to admirers once she feels comfortable. Her sweetness and charming personality make her an irresistible addition to the farm. Murren is quickly becoming a beloved and cherished member of our Highland Cow family.
