Welcoming Janice & Emily from The School Garden to the Farm!
We are delighted to announce a wonderful new collaboration with Janice and Emily from The School Garden! Starting this year, Janice will be growing a variety of flowersâincluding a breathtaking selection of dahliasâin one of our polytunnels, all while running her gorgeous floral workshops and creating stunning arrangements for events.
Meet Janice â The Heart Behind The School Garden
Janiceâs journey began in Spring 2024 when she started sowing seeds and planting flowers in the original school garden of The Schoolmasterâs House, built in 1895. What started as a passion project quickly flourished into a full-scale cutting garden, with an honesty box at the gate marking the beginning of The School Garden.
Beyond florals, Janice has a deep-rooted love for table styling and interiors, with her work recognized by brands such as Farrow & Ball, La Redoute, Sandtex, and George Home. She beautifully combines her eye for styling with her love of flowers, offering everything from seasonally styled bouquets to bespoke wedding and event styling.
Meet Emily â The Vintage Styling Expert
Working alongside Janice at The School Garden, Emily brings another layer of creativity to the experience. For over two years, she has been carefully curating an incredible collection of vintage homeware and tableware, including many cherished Spode pieces.
Emilyâs passion is to help create timeless, bespoke event settings, sourcing candlesticks, table linens, and vintage tableware to bring your vision to lifeâwithout the stress. Whether youâre planning an intimate wedding, a hen party, or a special event, Emily and Janice will be there on-site to set up and style everything to perfectionâthen take it all away afterwards.
Reusing and recycling is at the heart of their business, breathing new life into vintage treasures. Emilyâs Studio Collection showcases hand-selected, one-of-a-kind pieces available for purchase, with the option to add freshly arranged flowers to your order.
